Regarding the Apology That Never Comes...
By: Connie J..., December 17, 2022

With Domestic Violence, as well as MANY of today’s hot-button issues, there quite often is no apology made to wrongs committed to Victims.
We need to take the time to learn to accept this, as difficult as it is – because it is part of the equation to move beyond the hurt, into healing. (Kind of like putting a rubber mat, or rock salt under your wheels to get traction in the snow.) Otherwise, you can “sit and spin” for years, decades, or even the rest of your life.
Its definitely not fair, but it is one of those things in life that never will be. You can either let it drag you down, or you can be grateful for the knowledge that there IS a way to move forward; and there are always choices.
This isn’t necessarily a quick-fix, either – this was one of those walls I kept running into in MY healing process; until one day, it finally just clicked.

Do you have an “apology that never came” to overcome in YOUR life? Is this your sign to begin more forward growth?

*October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please share this post, no matter what month it is, to help get the word out. The Victim has to make the choice – but, “What If…” they read something you sent them, and it just “clicks”?
*I share a “What If…” post, on the first post of every month, and I would love the opportunity to share YOUR “what ifs”.
Please send your “What If…” ideas to Connie J… – beamererin@yahoo.com; or through Ozer, at the website ozerministriesinc.com, or email, ozerministries@att.net.
