Do Not Seek Revenge...
By: Connie J..., September 29, 2024

...but do the work and begin to heal; THEN move on with your life. THAT is effective. Seeking revenge only keeps you stuck in THEIR cycle of abuse.
I know many people that have never grown, and gone through any kind of healing process - although they have moved on with their life - and just "left it all behind", or "it has no bearing on who (they are), today", and many other phrases that allude to that sentiment.
Do you find yourself doing ANYTHING in your life, that is realistically you trying to get revenge on someone that hurt you; or find yourself doing things just to "show them" exactly what you're capable of doing? This is often in response to something "they said (you) would NEVER accomplish"? Do you always seem to be trying to do things to "prove them wrong"?
Step out of that cesspool; and grow into the YOU that you are meant to become. Regardless of your trauma and abuse - THIS is one way you can "take yourself back".
As I've said, before, it's NOT an easy road; but a more worthwhile path to travel.
I challenge you to at least think about it...

*October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please share this post, no matter what month it is, to help get the word out. The Victim has to make the choice - but, "What If..." they read something you sent them, and it just "clicks"?
*I would love the opportunity to share YOUR ideas in a Blog post. Please send them to Connie J... - beamererin@yahoo.com; or through Ozer email, ozerministries@att.net.
