One of the biggest "weapons" a perpetrator uses in Domestic Violence is control, via the negative use of manipulation. Thereby, the word control has mostly been linked to negative thoughts.
But, what if you could "flip the script", and use control - only linked to yourself - as your "super power" - SELF-CONTROL??!
In life, the ONLY thing you really can control is what's in your mind, right? When something happens to you - you can only control YOUR reaction to it.
As with most positive things, it is not an easy path - but if you start with one simple situation, every day, you can grow your self-control "muscles". You could be self-control "BUFF"!!! How amazing could that be??!
Every morning, prepare yourself for a self-control "workout" - it will present itself, you won't have to go looking for it (even if you're home, by yourself).
I'm asking you, right now, to begin to prepare, and build those self-control "muscles" - #bebuff
